WHY PSB
PSB is not only a degree provider. Its value is in its applied disciplines, partner universities, learning facilities and relatively clear international-student information such as Student Pass, insurance, FPS and documents checklist.
PSB covers business, engineering, IT, data, cyber security, life science, nursing, media, hospitality, logistics and sports science.
PSB’s virtual campus shows life science labs, sport science labs, engineering labs, studios, lecture theatres, classrooms and common spaces.

STUDENT FIT
PSB courses are spread across academic levels, partner universities and discipline pages. The first decision is not the school name, but entry level, discipline and budget.
Check whether the student can enter Diploma or Bachelor directly, especially for business, IT, engineering, life science and media.
Review Foundation / Certificate / Diploma routes first, then check age, English level and academic background.
Confirm English requirements and accepted proof, such as IELTS / TOEFL or English-medium instruction letter.

ACADEMIC LEVELS
PSB lists academic levels including IGCSE, Certificate, Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree, Doctorate and online courses.
For students building academic, English or subject foundations.
A common pre-degree professional foundation for students after high school or equivalent.
Selected degree courses may be completed within 8 to 48 months, subject to university approval and course requirements.
For students with bachelor’s or relevant backgrounds seeking MBA or specialised master’s routes.
Some programmes are online; application fee and recognition considerations should be checked carefully.

FEES
PSB fees should be confirmed against the specific course page, offer and student contract. These are the key items families often need to check before application.

STUDENT PASS
Foreign full-time students accepted by PSB generally need a Student’s Pass; DP/LTVP holders may need STP if validity is insufficient.
Student’s Pass holders in private education institutions are not allowed to engage in paid or unpaid employment or business.
PSB states that a new Student’s Pass takes approximately 4 weeks to process.
EDUTRUST & FPS
PSB Academy was awarded EduTrust Certification on 20 May 2010 and has renewed it for consecutive 4-year terms till 13 May 2030.
PSB protects course fees under the Fee Protection Scheme through an SSG-appointed provider. New students from 1 Aug 2021 are covered by Liberty Insurance.
Full-time students in courses longer than one month or 50 hours are covered by hospital & surgical insurance with an annual limit up to S$20,000.
New full-time international students are automatically registered in their first year, with an annual limit of S$750 and up to S$100 per A&E visit.

POLICIES
PSB’s transfer / withdrawal / refund / deferment policies should be checked against the student contract and current policy. EduStation helps families check commencement date, written notice requirements, refundable items, non-refundable application fee, Student Pass and insurance matters.
